The renowned Bishop Ajayi Crowther Memorial Anglican Church (Bacmac) Choir with the Nigerian Police Orchestra are set to captivate audiences with their upcoming concert themed “Seven Words of Christ on the Cross.” The event will occur on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, at Vinning Hall, Ikeja GRA Lagos, starting at 4:00 PM.
Known for their exceptional musicality and classical hymn mastery, Bacmac Choir has garnered numerous accolades, including the 2023 Best Choir in Alimosho and two silver medals in the Africa Gospel Championship in Rwanda. The concert promises an evening of spiritual reflection and musical excellence, featuring performances by the talented Bacmac Choir under the direction of their esteemed Choir Director, Sir Kelechi Agu.
Attendees can expect to be uplifted by the powerful rendition of the “Seven Words of Christ on the Cross” in a unique and memorable musical experience. The Right Reverend Dr. James Olusola Odedeji, the Lord Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos West, emphasised the profound significance of God’s gift to mankind, embodied in His Son, Jesus Christ. He highlighted that this gift holds immense importance for Christendom. In light of this, they are celebrating the season with a concert that reverberates with the essence of His sacrifice and resurrection, embodying the core message of Easter.
