The President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), High Chief Tochukwu Emmanuel Ezisi has felicitated the Maritime Stakeholders on the 64th Nigeria Independence day celebration.

Chief Ezisi who is the Managing Director of Emmatoks Agencies Limited, a big player in the freight forwarding and related business space within the Maritime sector and also the 6th in line of the Presidents of NAGAFF spoke in a telephone interview at the early hours of Tuesday morning.

He said “I am fully aware of the enormous challenges that the maritime industry and the NAGAFF family are facing at the moment, I sincerely feel their pains and will not hesitate in extending a generous hand to those in need, but I do personally send a deep message of hope to everyone within the sector”.

His words “In the spirit of oneness, let’s be very calm and prayerful to God Almighty who is the great provider. I still believe in this country and in the renewed hope agenda of the President Agenda”.

Chief Ezisi added “I send my congratulations to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola, the President of the Maritime workers Union and all those celebrating their birthdays in the course of this independence period and in the month of October 2024”

The High Chief who hails from Agulu in Anambra State expresses the deep love and passion that he has for the maritime industry and urges all frieght forwarders to do honest declaration especially in this peak period of the Ember months in order to avoid business complications.

He however also urged the authorities at the Customs to look into some of the challenges that occur during the clearing process like network breakdown and the issue of referring freight forwarders to Customs Headquarters, Abuja when the issue can be addressed in situ or at the zonal level in order that the predictability index can be more efficiently determined.
