The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), arguably the largest freight forwarding association in Nigeria in terms of numbers has put all modalities in place to celebrate its 25th year of formation.
The details of the programme of event for the anniversary shows that the occasion is also going to be used to launch the ambitious five hundred million naira (₦500,000,000.00) fund for the proposed permanent secretariat of the association.
Judging from the various activities that have been going on around the association for months now, this celebration is planned to bring into attendance the crémé dè la crème of the freight forwarding and logistics business to the occasion.
The occasion will feature a conference that will go with the theme: THE ROLE OF FREIGHT FORWARDERS IN THE LOGISTICS SUPPLY CHAIN “THE STORY OF NAGAFF”

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola is expected to be the guest of honour while the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu will be the chief guest of honour as the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi will be the special guest of honour.
The founder of NAGAFF, Chief (Dr.) Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam will serve as the father of the day as Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi will be the royal father of the day.
The keynote speaker on the day is Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, the managing director of the Nigerian Ports Authority while chief Azubuike Ekweozor is the chief launcher of the day.
The event which is scheduled to happen on Saturday, 16th of November will take place at the Colonades Hotel, 21 Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyl, Lagos has chief Afam Chukwuma as the chairman of the organising committee.
